RESUMO

The article presents decade dynamics of hemogram of workers started their labor activity in factories of terephthalic acid, purifed terephthalic acid and polyethylene terephthalate. The study established a hemodynamics depended on career pattern, characterizing hematologic shifts i.e. decreasing of content of red blood elements, adaptative compensatory reactions of white blood, increasing of sensitization and allergizing.

RESUMO

To evaluate ecologically allowable level of serum metals content in humans for making regional background normal level, the number of heavy metal ions should be determined in healthy human serum and simultaneously homeostasis parameters (hemolysis, biochemistry, immunologic) should be measured--clinically normal limits of these parameters are responsible for safe levels of of the heavy metals in human body. The suggested levels of metals in healthy human serum could serve as clinical MACs.

RESUMO

Analysis of thorough medical examinations with applied method assessing occupational health risks in ore-dressing and processing enterprise workers revealed increased risk of locomotory and nervous system disorders, diseases of respiratory tract (chronic bronchitis), ear and mastoid process, digestive system (peptic ulcer of stomach and duodenum), blood system, eyes (Uchaly town, Bashkortostan Republic). The data obtained prove high level of occupational influence of these diseases formation.

RESUMO

The authors analysed structure and degree of occupational risk in chlorine organic compounds production, revealed a combination of chemical, physical hazards with work burden and determined the work conditions as harmful and dangerous (3.2-3.4). With consideration of most medical and biologic parameters, high level of occupational risk appeared to correspond to significant (from medium to nearly complete) occupational conditionality of the disorders diagnosed. The suggested and approved method to determine occupational conditionality of health disorders at hazardous work conditions could serve as a basis for occupational medical standard.

RESUMO

Variation criteria--variation coefficient, Fisher criterion (F-value) and suggested by the authors index of homeostasis--enable to evaluate completely the state of occupational crews and reveal their compensated disadaptation. Administration of adaptogens (such as oxymethacil) is expedient for correction of premorbid conditions in occupational crews. Increased aboriginality and random selection during occupational activities considerably better adaptational characteristics of the occupational crews.

RESUMO

Complex clinical and functional examination of 662 workers engaged into oil extraction revealed unfavorable influence of shifted expedition work mode on the health state. Chronic diseases were diagnosed in 47% of the examinees. Structure of chronic diseases among the examinees presented prevalent disorders of central nervous system and vegetative regulation. The authors necessitated differentiated screening among the shifted expedition workers in accordance with their health grade groups. Expert committees for this examination should include psychiatrist, narcology expert and ophthalmologist.

RESUMO

The article considers 3 different points of view on systemic mathematical analysis of human fatigue process. In this case, the same physiologic information is processed according to various algorithms for integral and digital estimates of lowered performance and energy expenditure, as well as indirect characteristics of inhibition and excitation processes in the brain cortex. The mathematical results are applied in computer forecasting of individual occupational risk at the specific workplace.

RESUMO

A bipolar pattern of human work was applied to evaluate the dependences of human functional status and capacity for work on occupational factors, work algorithms, etc. The results lead to a conclusion that the relationships of intellectual and physical elements of work have a special influence on the correlations between functional status and three main structures of the pattern: industrial conditions, working process and other acting circumstances (from emotions to social and everyday life). The pattern enables to base automatic controlling systems taking into account the complete human functioning, to make a durable forecast of human health and capacity for work, which is very important for medical insurance.

RESUMO

The dose of radioactive irradiation received by the workers of the Mozyr industrial area after the Chernobyl power plant accident cannot result in specific lesions, but a nonspecific effects of low radiation doses, chemical substances of low intensity and other occupational factors are possible. A possible radiation origin of the astheno-depressive and astheno-somatic disorders developing by nonspecific stress mechanisms is to be investigated.

RESUMO

Workers engaged in oil-refining industries are exposed to constant occupation-related factors resulting in specific changes of the eye (moderate irritations of the palpebral conjunctiva, bulbar conjunctiva degeneration, angiopathy of the retina, and distortions in the light/darkness adaptation of the eye). There was a direct correlation between the changes and degrees of exposure to the hazardous occupational factors and their effects on the nervous, cardio-vascular and digestion systems. This proved a possibility of using respective data of ophthalmologic examinations for an early diagnosis of somatic diseases in the workers.
